A canvas shop that answers the phone.
Sew Right is an owner-run canvas shop in LaGrange, Ohio. One shop, one standard: canvas that fits and lasts.
Why boaters keep our number.
A boat cover is easy to buy and hard to buy right. Universal covers sag, pool water, and flap themselves apart in one Ohio winter. Sew Right exists for boaters who are done replacing cheap canvas.
We pattern each job on the boat itself, sew it with marine-grade materials in our LaGrange shop, and come back to fit it in person. When a strap or snap goes missing years later, we replace the piece instead of selling you a new cover.
From Lake Erie marinas to backyard trailers, the work is the same: measure carefully, sew it strong, fit it right.
Built for the water
Everything is sewn for sun, spray, and winter storage, not showroom shelves.

Service area
Boat covers across Northeast Ohio and the Lake Erie shore.
The shop sits in LaGrange, Lorain County, and the van goes wherever the boat is. Marinas on Lake Erie, storage yards inland, and driveways in between all get the same measure-in-person service.
Outside this area? Call 440-315-0293 and ask. Longer trips are arranged case by case, and covers can often be patterned from a visit and finished back in the shop.
